Inxpire Mental Health Services, Inc. is organized as a Corporation, owned and operated by Shinkae Hombrebueno, a licensed psychologist with over seven years of experience in psychotherapy, counseling, and mental health assessments. The clinic is structured to ensure efficient clinical service delivery, ethical oversight, and strong administrative support.

Ms. Shinkae B. Hombrebueno, RPsy, CFPE

EXPERIENCE: She has over 7 years of experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and psychosocial support. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and groups addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, and relationship issues. Her therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and holistic, client-centered interventions.

AFFILIATIONS/ORG/CERTIFICATIONS: She is the CEO of Inxpire Mental Health Services Inc. and currently serves as a consultant for mental health and psychosocial service organizations, with affiliations at Childfam Possibilities Psychosocial Services (CPPS) and DevHub. She is a Licensed Registered Psychologist, Certified Forensic Psychology Expert, and a member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP), the American Psychological Association (APA), Toastmasters International, and the Philippine Astronomical Society (PAS).

PASSION/HOBBIES: Outside of work, she is a musician who enjoys playing the guitar, piano, and drums, as well as composing music. She also enjoys local and international travel, nature adventures, astronomy, and volunteering for mental health advocacy and community programs.

Ms. Vanessa S. Cardenas, RPsy

EXPERIENCE: Vanessa S. Cardenas is a Registered Psychologist in the Philippines with specialization in crisis counseling, psychotherapy and psychological assessment. Her expertise spans over 8 years handling different challenges in mental health such as occupational burnout, mood disorders, trauma and grief. In treating clients, she leads with a person-centered approach, integrating evidence-based interventions such as trauma-informed strategies, EMDR, CBT, and motivational interviewing to tailor treatment plans to each client’s unique needs. Lastly, she has significant experience in positive psychology focusing on facilitating wellbeing skills development. 

AFFILIATIONS/ORG/CERTIFICATIONS: Currently, she handles the role of Lead Clinician at Inxpire Mental Services Inc. as of this year. She is also connected with Childfam Possibilities Psychosocial Services (CPPS) as EAP Counselor since 2019. She’s also an active member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP).

PASSION/HOBBIES: She’s passionate about initiatives that help protect nature and animal care. In her personal and leisure time, she’s into mountaineering, exploring and traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures and cuisine.
